Zombie Mode
I believe every player encounters a horde of zombies daily, especially at night. You often witness them burning under the sun each morning, attempting to attack you, and frightening the villagers. But what if you could experience life as a zombie in the world of Minecraft PE? The mod titled Zombie Mode for Minecraft Pocket Edition offers you this unique opportunity. Once you install this mod on MCPE, you will step into the shoes of a zombie! Now, you’ll need to avoid sunlight, spread fear throughout the land, and scare the villagers… I think this is quite entertaining and allows for a deeper immersion into the atmosphere of Minecraft Pocket Edition.
How Does It Work?
You’ll have to stay as far away from sunlight as possible, as it will eliminate you. After installing the Zombie Mode mod, your survival will depend on darkness, hiding in caves or elsewhere during the day. Only when night falls in the world of Minecraft PE will you be able to return to the surface…
The most intriguing part is that hostile mobs will now accept you as one of their own since you are a zombie! You and your friends will spread the infection throughout the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition.
What about raiding villages? Now, iron and snow golems will become hostile towards you. Additionally, it’s important to note that your damage output has significantly increased! You have become much stronger and gained numerous allies in the world of MCPE.
You can create even more allies by eliminating peaceful villagers, as they will become infected and turn into zombie villagers. Unfortunately, there is a bug that causes zombie villagers to remain hostile towards you.
Installing Zombie Mode (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Add-on Packs for the world. - Select the imported resource packs/addons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
Installing Zombie Mode (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the “Zombie Mode” folder from the archive.
- Move the “Zombie Mode” folder to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the addon for the selected world that you previously moved to the behavior_packs folder.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
