Zombie Archers
Don’t you think that encountering a zombie at night makes it incredibly easy to take it down? Many might share this opinion, which is why today we introduce you to the mod “Zombie Archers” for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which equips zombies with bows! Once this add-on is installed, zombies will use arrows instead of melee attacks! Additionally, several other changes will occur, such as zombies no longer burning in sunlight in Minecraft Pocket Edition.
Despite being a rather dim-witted monster in MCPE, this mod will introduce some challenges to the gameplay!
New Zombie Features
After installing the mod “Zombie Archers” for Minecraft Pocket Edition, zombies will gain numerous features, including immunity to sunlight. Check out the complete list of features below:
- Zombies no longer burn in sunlight
- Zombies carry bows in their hands
- Upon death, a bow drops as loot
- Zombies now attack exclusively with arrows
- The attack range of zombies exceeds that of skeletons
- Zombies remain hostile as before
Installing Zombie Archers (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Add-on Packs for the world. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world in MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Zombie Archers (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the “Zombie Archers” folder from the archive.
- Move the “Zombie Archers” folder to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world to use the add-on you previously moved to the behavior_packs folder.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
