Water Bike
Have you always wanted to ride on water in MCPE? If so, download the mod called Water Bike for Minecraft Pocket Edition, and you’ll have the fantastic opportunity to cruise across the water on a brand-new jet ski! You can now travel using this new mode of transport, which, although a bit tricky to control, is definitely worth it! The bike looks quite appealing, but there’s room for improvement, and we hope the mod developers for MCPE will make some updates soon.
How does it work?
First, you need to construct your own bike in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition. To do this, place 4 iron blocks and put a pumpkin on top, as this vehicle serves as a replacement for the iron golem. Build the structure as shown in the screenshot below, and then place the pumpkin on top.
It’s best to construct the water bike near a body of water, as it will be much easier to push it into the water after spawning. Oh, and here’s a little secret: the water bike doesn’t actually float; it hovers just above the water in the MCPE world.
You can control the vehicle by holding a special key (which replaces the carrot on a stick).
- IOS/Android: press and hold the bike, then tap the Drive button that appears.
- Windows 10: right-click on the water bike.
Installing Water Bike (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs for the world.
— Addons for the world. - Select the imported resource packs/addons in each section.
- It’s recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
Installing Water Bike (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder “Water bike Behavior” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
- Move the folder “Water bike Resource” to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ folder.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world with the resource pack and addon that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
