Vindicator Addon
Vindicator represents a new type of mob in the game, spawned within the Woodland Mansion. This feature is part of the PC version of Minecraft, but with the Vindicator Addon, it will also be available in Minecraft: Pocket Edition. Using the Vindicator mod, players can tame skeletons, effectively transforming them into the PC version’s mob, Vindicator.
While this mob is not identical to its PC counterpart in Minecraft, it shares many similarities. Learn more about the Vindicator mob here!
How does it work?
To acquire the new mob, obtain a skeleton egg in creative mode or find one in survival mode. Ensure that the game difficulty is enabled beforehand. Approach the mob while holding an iron axe, then press the “Tame” button.
Once tamed, the behavior of the Vindicator mob will change. For instance, it will now attack hostile mobs and all living creatures. If you defeat a Vindicator mob, there is a chance it will drop an iron axe.
The Woodland Mansion is a residence for the so-called villagers. Currently, the generation of such houses is not a feature of Minecraft Pocket Edition, but it is part of the PC version of Minecraft. Installing the Vindicator Addon:
- Download the addon from below.
- Extract the two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder “vindicator_resource_pack” to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ directory.
- Move the folder “Vindicator_behavior_pack” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Apply the addon and resource pack that you previously moved to the necessary folders.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
