How the Villager Soldier Mod Works

The Villager Soldier is essentially a new mob that can be found throughout Minecraft. It is capable of wielding two types of weapons in the game – swords and crossbows. Its attributes make it quite formidable against various monsters in MCBE.

Additionally, blacksmiths can provide protection as they will automatically arm themselves upon spotting an enemy. You can also turn any other villager into a swordsman, but only if they have a profession in the village. Exceptions are made for children and beggars. To do this, approach the mob while sneaking with your sword drawn.

The same applies to hunters – they will grab their bows when enemies appear. It is possible to turn other villagers into archers as well.

The Villager Soldier from the eponymous mod also serves as a merchant. While the selection may be somewhat limited, the items offered are of good quality.
