Tyrannosaurus

The mod “Tyrannosaurus (T-Rex)” introduces the dinosaur known as Tyrannosaurus Rex with custom animations in Minecraft Bedrock. Undoubtedly, this is one of the most formidable mobs you can encounter in the Overworld. However, you might be fortunate enough to find a juvenile dinosaur that poses no threat and can even be tamed with meat. You can then use it for your own protection or ride it as you continue your adventures in the world of Minecraft.

How does it work?

The Tyrannosaurus Rex (or T-Rex) is an added entity featuring stunning custom animations. The most impressive aspect is undoubtedly its roar. Before attacking, it will extend its neck, open its jaws wide, and then roar in a fit of rage. It’s quite terrifying, but without it, there would be little excitement.

Large T-Rex specimens should be avoided at all costs if you value your life. However, if you come across a smaller one, you can attempt to tame it by offering any type of meat.

• iOS / Android: Long press on the T-Rex with a piece of meat and tap the interaction button to try to tame it.
• Windows 10: Right-click on the T-Rex with a piece of meat to attempt taming it.

Approach stealthily and use the interaction button (or right-click if you’re on Windows 10) to command it to sit or stand in Minecraft.

A tamed adult dinosaur can be used for riding. You will also notice that it has custom animations.

Requirement: Enable “Experimental Mode” in world settings!

Installing Tyrannosaurus (.mcpack)

• Download the mod labeled “.mcpack” below.
• Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
• Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to world settings.
• Set the imported:
  — Resource Packs.
  — Add-on Packs.
• Select the imported resource/add-on packs in each section.
• It is recommended to restart the game client Minecraft PE afterward.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
