Turtle Plus

Turtle Plus (Turtle +) is a mod that introduces additional functionalities for the new mob in Minecraft Bedrock – the turtle, which was added in the Aquatic Update. You can now tame the turtle and take it along on your adventures in Minecraft. It will follow you as a loyal companion and even allow you to ride it both on land and in water.

How does it work?

You can tame the turtle by feeding it some seaweed. It may take a few attempts before you successfully tame it in Minecraft. You’ll know it’s working when heart particles appear above the turtle.

• iOS / Android: Long press on the turtle with seaweed and tap Tame
• Windows 10: Right-click on the turtle with some seaweed to tame it

Taming a turtle comes with several benefits. They will follow you around, and you can use them for riding, both on land and in Minecraft Bedrock.

• iOS / Android: Long press on the turtle and tap Ride
• Windows 10: Right-click on the turtle to ride it

You can ride the turtle both on land and in water. The only downside to riding in water is that it can be challenging to ascend or descend.

Installing Turtle Plus (.mcpack)

• Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
• Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
• Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to world settings.
• Set the imported:
  — Add-on Packs for the world.
• Select the imported resource/add-on packs in each section.
• It is recommended to restart the game client Minecraft PE afterward.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!

Installing Turtle Plus (.zip)

• Download the mod below.
• Extract the folder “TurtlePlusAdd-OnV1” from the archive.
• Move the folder “TurtlePlusAdd-OnV1” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
• Create a new world or edit an existing one.
• Set the selected world to use the add-on you previously moved to the behavior_packs folder.
• Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
