Throwable Torches
Throwable Torches Mod — this mod introduces sticky torches into the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition, allowing for greater mobility. With these new sticky torches, you can illuminate areas much faster by throwing them.
The unique feature of sticky torches is that you can toss them several meters onto walls or the ground, and they will stick. This is an incredibly useful and convenient mod!
How to throw a sticky torch?
Throwable torch is nearly identical to the standard Minecraft torch, but with the added sticky feature. To craft this torch, combine a regular torch with slime at a crafting table.
- Throwable Torch (id – 760) (x6) – 6 torches + 1 slime.
You can throw the torches just like snowballs or slimeballs. Aim in the direction you want to throw the torch and tap the screen as you normally would to throw it!
In the screenshot below, we scattered “Throwable Torches” across a specific area in just 5 seconds, and as you can see, the illuminated area is quite extensive. With regular torches, you wouldn’t be able to light up such a large area in that time.
This method allows you to quickly light your path. You can throw sticky torches on both the ground and walls. The only surface where they won’t stick is on tree leaves.
How to install the Throwable Torches mod:
- Download the mod.
- Launch BlockLauncher Pro.
- Click on the wrench icon.
- Go to “ModPE Script”.
- Enable mod support and click “Add”.
- Now locate the downloaded mod in your device’s file system and click on it.
- The mod is installed; now install the textures!
How to install the Throwable Torches texture:
- Download the texture.
- Launch BlockLauncher Pro.
- Click on the wrench icon.
- Go to BlockLauncher Settings.
- Enable texture support.
- Go to Texture Packs and click Import.
- Now find the downloaded texture pack in your device’s file system and click on it.
- The mod and texture are installed; enjoy your game!
