Throwable Lightsaber
The mod «Throwable Lightsaber» is a must-have for every Star Wars enthusiast. It replaces the trident in Minecraft PE with an amazing lightsaber. The lightsaber comes with customizable features, including models, textures, and even adjustable sounds. You can also modify its behavior using various spells. This showcases yet another fantastic application of mods – introducing lightsabers into Minecraft PE.
How does it work?
The trident (which is the new weapon in the latest beta version) is replaced by the lightsaber.
You can obtain the trident, now known as the lightsaber, by creating a new world and selecting Use Experimental Gameplay. Alternatively, you can install the Trident Enchantments map and apply the mod to that MCPE world.

Since the lightsaber replaces the trident, you can enchant the weapon. For instance, one useful enchantment is Loyalty, which will cause the lightsaber to return to you in Minecraft Pocket Edition after you throw it. However, regular lightsabers must be picked up from the ground after being thrown.
Installing the Throwable Lightsaber (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked with «.mcpack» below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to world settings.
- Set the imported for the world:
— Resource Packs.
— Addons. - Select the imported resource/addon packs in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
Installing the Throwable Lightsaber (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder LightsaberB to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
- Move the folder LightsaberR to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ folder.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world with the resource pack and addon that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
