The Undying
Do you enjoy exciting gameplay changes in Minecraft Pocket Edition? The mod titled The Undying introduces new mobs and a unique item, all inspired by the totem of undying. These mobs resemble a miniature golem but come with several new modifications that truly set them apart in MCPE. The new item is a weapon that replaces the bow, allowing it to be used as both a sword and explosive weapon in Minecraft PE.
The Undying
One of the new and intriguing features is The Undying. This small mob can be found in most biomes. Players in MCPE can tame them and keep them as protective companions.
- Replaces the creeper
- Health: 50 hearts (can create a shield that protects it from damage)
- Tame with emeralds
- Wild ones will jump and run away from players
- Once tamed, they will follow you and defend against hostile mobs
- Automatically attacks guardians and summoners
- You can make tamed ones grow faster by feeding them iron ingots, gold ingots, or diamonds
Sword of the Undying
This sword is significantly better than any other vanilla weapon in Minecraft PE, as it can be used as both melee (sword) and ranged (bow) to shoot explosives. Additionally, holding it grants you several extra effects, such as increased health and the ability to run faster.
- Replaces the bow
- Used like arrows to shoot undying souls (arrows) and create an explosion with a power of 2, leaving cool particles behind
- You can also use it as a sword, dealing 13 attack damage
- While holding this sword, your health increases to 20 hearts, and your running speed boosts to 1.3
Installing The Undying (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to world settings.
- Set the imported for the world:
— Resource Packs.
— Addons. - Select the imported resource/addon packs in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
Installing The Undying (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder “Undying Behavior” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
- Move the folder “Undying Resource” to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ folder.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world with the resource pack and addon that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
