The Darkened
Do you feel that surviving in the world of Minecraft PE has become too easy? Are mobs no longer intimidating? If so, you must download and install the mod “The Darkened” for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which will transform most dimensions of your favorite game into a more perilous and brutal environment. The ordinary world of MCPE will now appear much darker, with entirely different mobs roaming its lands. Additionally, many hostile mobs have had their appearances, behaviors, and sounds altered to make the world of MCPE even more terrifying.
What Has Changed?
The first and most noticeable change after installing this mod for Minecraft Pocket Edition is the alteration of textures, sounds, and the replacement of certain mobs. A great deal will be modified with this add-on, but one thing will remain unchanged: mobs will still be eager to eliminate you.
Installing The Darkened (.mcaddon)
- Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-ons. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing The Darkened (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder “The Darkened (B)” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
- Move the folder “The Darkened – Version 1” to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ folder.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world with the resource pack and add-on that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
