Make the most of your weaponry in Minecraft on Android! The Sword Blocking mod enables you to play without a shield.

Defending against melee attacks is a fundamental aspect of swordplay. However, this feature was not included in the Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Fortunately, the Sword Blocking mod has introduced this mechanic into the game.

How the Sword Blocking Mod Works

There is nothing extraordinary about the creation process in MCPE. However, you will need to enable experimental settings in Minecraft PE, specifically Gametest, since the mod relies on it. Additionally, it works well with any add-ons that introduce weapons.

So, when a character wields a sword, press the sneaking button in Minecraft. The hero will not only block an attack:

• Projectiles are blocked 99%
• Splash effects from potions

When hitting a character, damage will be reduced by 80%. Therefore, it’s still important not to overlook the presence of a shield in Minecraft Bedrock. Good luck!
