Shulker Defense System
Is everyone familiar with the unique mob known as the Shulker? What if I told you that it can now become an ally for players? To achieve this, you need to install the mod called Shulker Defense System for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which allows players to ally with the Shulker. The Shulker has been modified to be friendly towards players while remaining hostile to other mobs like skeletons, zombies, and other adversarial creatures. This mod is compatible only with versions Minecraft PE 1.0/0.17 and above!
How does it work?
Place Shulkers at various points around your base! You will need spawn eggs from creative mode in Minecraft Pocket Edition for this.
Shulkers are no longer hostile towards players, so after placing these mobs, you can switch to survival mode without any fear.
The Shulker will attack hostile mobs using its projectiles, causing them to levitate! Any hostile mob in the MCPE world risks being defeated if they approach your base too quickly! This is a fascinating way to protect your base.
The only downside to this mod is that Shulkers may occasionally teleport from one location to another. However, this shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
Installing Shulker Defense System (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled as .mcpack below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Add-on Packs for the world. - Select the imported resource packs/addons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
Installing Shulker Defense System (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the folder “Shulker Defense System” from the archive.
- Move the folder Shulker Defense System to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Apply the addon that you previously moved to the behavior_packs folder to the selected world.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
