Shulker Boxes
In Minecraft PE, there are numerous features that are exclusive to the PC version of Minecraft. This seems a bit unfair, which is why many players create various mods to introduce these features. One such mod is the mod called Shulker Boxes for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which brings the Shulker Box into the MCPE world! Perhaps in the future, we will see this feature officially included in MCPE, but for now, you can enjoy this mod. Unfortunately, the Shulker Box can only be used in creative mode with a spawn egg.
How Does It Work?
The primary and sole purpose of this mod for Minecraft Pocket Edition is to introduce the Shulker Box, which can hold up to 27 item slots! This new block replaces the standard Shulker, and you can only obtain it using a spawn egg from the creative mode of MCPE.
Regardless, this is a fascinating feature that may eventually be added to your favorite game, Minecraft PE!
Installing Shulker Boxes (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- Enable the imported:
— Add-on Packs for the world. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Shulker Boxes (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the “Shulker Boxes” folder from the archive.
- Move the “Shulker Boxes” folder to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Apply the add-on that you previously moved to the behavior_packs folder to the selected world.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
