Robots
I believe that seasoned players of Minecraft PE have at some point considered that an iron golem may not always be able to safeguard you from enemy attacks. This is why we are excited to introduce the mod “Robots” for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which replaces the familiar golem with a new robot that has a different appearance and enhanced strength. Currently, the robot lacks unique abilities in the MCPE world, but we hope that will change soon. Additionally, you will be able to acquire a new robot helmet that allows you to see the world of MCPE from a fresh perspective.
Robot Spawn
Now, the iron golem in Minecraft Pocket Edition will be replaced by a robot. No one really knows where this robot came from, but many speculate that it arrived from another planet. As you might have guessed, the spawning process for the robot is identical to that of the iron golem: you need to place 4 iron blocks as shown in the screenshot below, and then put a pumpkin on top.
The robot will be friendly towards villagers and players in the Minecraft PE world. If it detects hostile monsters, it will immediately start attacking them, ensuring they are defeated! The only difference between the robot and the iron golem is that it has double the health:
- Health: 100 hearts
- Replaces the iron golem
- Protects villagers from monsters
Robot Helmet Display
This is another feature you should definitely check out. To access the robot helmet, simply wear a pumpkin. You won’t notice any significant differences, except for a special health bar for your character in the MCPE world. We hope that in the future, the pumpkin will change its appearance to give players a more intimidating and fearsome look.
Installing Robots (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Addons. - Select the imported resource/addon packs in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
Installing Robots (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the two folders from the archive.
- Move the “Robots Behavior” folder to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
- Move the “Robots Resource” folder to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ folder.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world with the resource pack and addon that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
