Reduce Player Gravity
Using the mod “Reduce Player Gravity (Low Gravity)“, players will experience a decrease in gravitational force, allowing them to jump higher in Minecraft Pocket Edition than they could before. Each jump varies slightly, typically reaching up to 2 blocks above the default setting of just 1 block in MCPE.
How Does Low Gravity Work?
Gravity is a natural force that pulls any object with mass towards other similar objects. This encompasses everything from distant galaxies and planets to humans and gummy bears.
There are three distinct gravity modes in Minecraft Pocket Edition. You can toggle between these modes by pressing the sneak button.
- Normal (standard mode)
- Reduce Gravity (by 50%)
- Reduce Gravity (by 100%)
This add-on also replaces the End Crystal with a gravity buff. You can access the gravity buff to gain its effects, which allow you to manipulate gravity.

Installing Reduce Player Gravity (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Add-on Packs for the world. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Reduce Player Gravity (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the “Reduce Player Gravity Addon” folder from the archive.
- Move the “Reduce Player Gravity Addon” folder to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Apply the add-on that you previously moved to the behavior_packs folder to the selected world.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
