Redstone Mechanic
Looking to introduce some fresh, modern mechanics into your favorite game, Minecraft PE? If so, you will definitely enjoy the mod titled Redstone Mechanic for Minecraft Pocket Edition. This mod replaces the standard mobs in the MCPE world with innovative mechanisms that roam the area surrounding the player. Among these mechanisms, two are regular robots with their own unique abilities, while the third is essentially a flying chair resembling a horse from the MCPE universe, capable of transporting players from one location to another.
New Mobs
Dispenser Robot: This new entity wanders through the Minecraft Pocket Edition world, launching snowballs, arrows, and snowballs at mobs (not monsters) and players.
- Replaces the creeper
- You can ignite this mob with flint and turn it into regular TNT
- Health: 10 hearts
- Neutral towards players
- Hostile towards mobs that are hostile to players
Flying Chair: This is your new mode of transportation in the MCPE world, which you can control by holding a block of redstone. The flying chair allows players to hover just one block above the ground.
- Replaces the husk
- Health: 10 hearts
- Controlled by redstone
Observer Robot: This mob roams the MCPE world, protecting players from any hostile mobs that attack it.
- Replaces the iron golem
- Acts as a helper for players
- Attacks hostile mobs
- Explodes upon death
If the observer robot starts shaking, be aware that an explosion is imminent, so it’s best to move away quickly!
Installing Redstone Mechanic (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Addons. - Select the imported resource/addon packs in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
Installing Redstone Mechanic (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder “Redstone Mechanic Behavior” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
- Move the folder “Redstone Mechanic Resource” to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ folder.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world with the resource pack and addon that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
