Rail Turrets
Want to enhance the security of your home in Minecraft PE? We have a fantastic mod called Rail Turrets specifically designed for Minecraft Pocket Edition. This mod introduces a new type of weapon: a turret on rails that can fire at your enemies using three different types of projectiles. If you’ve established a territory and are looking for a way to protect it, this mod for MCPE is perfect for you, as the new turrets can move along the rails to track their targets. Set up the tracks wherever you need them and rest easy!
How to Use This Rail Weapon?
Place the latest weapon on the rails, and it will function similarly to a minecart, with the key difference being that this new cart will attack any hostile entity in the MCPE world. Build a railway around your base, and your loyal defenders will patrol the area, keeping you safe while you sleep. Don’t forget to install powered rails to increase the weapon’s speed. You can also place the turret directly on the ground, but it won’t be able to move and patrol the area.
The new turrets can attack using three types of projectiles: fireball, arrow, or shulker projectile.
- IOS/Android: long-press on the weapon, then tap the button that appears to change the attack type.
- Windows 10: right-click on the weapon to change the attack type.
The turrets will automatically attack any hostile creature that comes within range.

Installing Rail Turrets (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled as .mcpack below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
- Apply the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Addons. - Select the imported resource/addon packs in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
Installing Rail Turrets (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder Rail Turrets Behaviors to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
- Move the folder Rail Turrets Resources to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ folder.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world to use the resource pack and addon that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
