Prehistoric Rift
Introducing another modification with a prehistoric theme – Prehistoric Rift. This mod incorporates highly detailed (yet long-extinct) creatures into Minecraft Pocket Edition.
Prehistoric Rift is a well-known mod for Minecraft Bedrock Edition, and its popularity stems from the meticulous design and the creator’s focus on intricate details.
Features of the Prehistoric Rift Mod
Currently, the roster of mobs featured in the Prehistoric Rift modification is relatively small. It’s quite possible that the creator will introduce new creatures to Minecraft over time. Here are some of the beings you might encounter:
- Tyrannosaurus Rex
- Stegosaurus
- Parasaurolophus
- Utahraptor
- Apatosaurus
- Dodo
- Triceratops
- Dimetrodon
Each creature from this mod can be tamed in Minecraft. Make sure to use treats (except for console players – more on that shortly, along with new tools).
The console is used to activate cannons on prehistoric reptiles. Indeed, this mod includes that feature as well. The tools are enhanced versions of the vanilla ones. All creatures come with various textures – ranging from 2 to 3 (or even up to 5) different options.
Additionally, dinosaurs have the ability to lay eggs, which hatch into offspring in Minecraft on Android. The young can be tamed in the same manner as their adult counterparts.
