Obsidian Utilities

If you have amassed a significant amount of obsidian in Minecraft and are unsure of what to do with it, the mod “Obsidian Utilities” will enable you to craft swords, armor, pickaxes, and various other tools from it.

Instead of sticks, blaze rods are used, as they offer a more appealing appearance. The new obsidian items will replace the gold items from vanilla Minecraft, which are not particularly useful anyway.

Obsidian axe (replaces the golden axe). Obsidian pickaxe (replaces the golden pickaxe). Obsidian shovel (replaces the golden shovel). Obsidian sword (replaces the golden sword). Obsidian hoe (replaces the golden hoe). To craft each item, you will need an obsidian ingot.

Item crafting is done using traditional recipes.

Installing Obsidian Utilities (.mcpack)

• Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” below.
• Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into Minecraft.
• Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
• For the world, set the imported:
  — Resource Packs.
  — Add-on Packs.
• Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
• It is recommended to restart the game client Minecraft PE afterwards.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world Minecraft, and enjoy the add-on!
