Night Vision Torch
Mod “Night Vision Torch (Torch of Night Vision)” introduces a new feature for torches in Minecraft PE. Essentially, it transforms the torch into a light source that functions even when held in hand. This means you won’t need to place the torch down to benefit from its illumination. The torch operates by granting the night vision status effect to the player holding it.
How Does It Work?
There are plenty of ways to utilize this mod. If you’ve ever found yourself deep within a cave or camping out with several torches, you’ll likely find this mod incredibly useful in MCPE. By holding the torch, players will receive the night vision status effect.
There’s a significant difference between this mod and the standard mode. This mod allows you to enjoy the beauty of the night!

Installing Night Vision Torch (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to world settings.
- Set the imported options for your world:
— Add-on Packs. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the game client Minecraft PE afterward.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Night Vision Torch (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the “RTorchAddon” folder from the archive.
- Move the “RTorchAddon” folder to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Apply the add-on that you moved to the behavior_packs folder to the selected world.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy playing!
