Mountains Concept
The “Mountains Concept” mod adds new features to the mountain biomes of Minecraft, which were showcased at Minecon 2018 during the biome update selection. You will encounter new animals and blocks that generate naturally throughout the world.
New mountains.
Goats grazing on mountaintops.
Grassy plateau.
Foothills.
Slightly higher mountains. Snowy mountain valley.
Even snowier snow.
Snow stone. A rare type of stones found on mountain peaks. It has properties similar to ice. Standing on it, you will slowly slide.
Deep snow. Snow block, also found on mountain peaks. Stepping on it, you will slow down.
In the picture above (from right to left): snow stone, deep snow.
Goats. These are new mobs that live in the mountains. You can milk them, kill them for wool, and breed them with wheat. You can also ride goats and control them with wheat.
Make sure to enable experimental gameplay in the settings of Minecraft.
Installation of Mountains Concept (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into Minecraft.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
- Install the imported resources for the world:
— Resource packs.
— Add-on packs. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- We recommend restarting the Minecraft PE client after this.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world in Minecraft, and enjoy the addon!
