More Jockeys

Do you think that surviving in the world of Minecraft PE has become too easy? We have just the solution for you with our new mod called More Jockeys for Minecraft Pocket Edition. This mod increases the number of paired mobs in the MCPE universe and introduces new mob combinations where one can ride another. Now, hostile mobs will first attempt to mount nearby creatures before trying to attack you. This modification will add a layer of challenge to your favorite game, as creepers, for instance, will be able to reach you much faster than before.

How does it work?

Jockeys (mobs that can ride others) now spawn more frequently in the Minecraft Pocket Edition world. Many mobs have learned to ride others, including creepers and zombies.

New riders in the MCPE realm will always seek to mount other mobs before attacking players. If you’re curious to see a creeper riding something, switch to survival mode to provoke an attack; it will look for a mount first.

• Creepers can ride animals and zombies
• Hoglins can ride pigs
• Skeletons can ride animals and zombies
• Witches can ride animals and zombies
• Zombies can ride animals
• Endermen can ride animals
• Sometimes skeletons, creepers, and witches may switch to riding zombies even if they are currently mounted on another creature

All these changes make the mobs in Minecraft Pocket Edition significantly more dangerous, as any hostile mob can now attack you much quicker than before.

Additionally, using this mod for Minecraft Pocket Edition will bring about some further changes in gameplay:

• Spiders and cave spiders will spawn with a rider 40% more often than before
• Baby riders will appear more frequently

Installing More Jockeys (.mcpack)

• Download the mod labeled “.mcpack” below.
• Open the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
• Apply the imported:
  — Resource Packs.
  — Addons.
• Select the imported resource/addon packs in each section.
• It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
• Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!

Installing More Jockeys (.zip)

• Download the mod below.
• Extract two folders from the archive.
• Move the folder “more_Jockey_behavior_by_Ayrtown” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
• Move the folder “more_jockey_texture_by_ayrtown” to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ directory.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
• Create a new world or edit an existing one.
• Set the selected world to use the resource pack and addon that you moved earlier to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
• Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy playing!
