More Chairs Add-on
More Chairs Add-on is the first furniture mod developed using a new modding technology that emerged with version Minecraft PE 0.16.0!
This mod introduces several types of chairs into the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition, allowing players to sit on them. Each chair boasts its own unique design, as they are crafted in various styles. As usual, all new items, including chairs, have been created based on existing game elements, this time replacing certain mobs with chairs.
How to Use the Chairs?
More Chairs Add-on replaces mobs with chairs. To obtain a chair, you need to use one of the following spawn eggs:
- Wither Skeleton — Bar Stool.
- Creeper — Red Chair.
- Stray — Wooden Chair.
- Zombified Piglin — Wooden Bar Stool.
To change the direction of the chair, use a cookie to rotate it. Approach the chair and long-press it with the cookie — then click the “Mount” button. Once seated, you can adjust the chair’s orientation.
Now you can ride the chair. Control its direction as desired. To get off the chair, simply press the jump button. If you want to move the chair elsewhere, tap on it while walking towards it.
Currently, there are four types of chairs available for sitting. You need to long-press the chair to bring up the “Mount” option, then select it to sit down.
Bar stools are very easy to use since they lack a front side, making placement relative to other objects straightforward.
Here’s an example of how wooden chairs look in-game at a large medieval table.
The stool closely resembles the bar stool but features a slightly different design.
Installing More Chairs Add-on:
- Download the mod.
- Extract the files from the archive.
- Copy the folder [Behavior pack] More Chairs to the directory “/games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/”.
- Copy the folder [Textures] More Chairs to the directory “/games/com.mojang/resource_packs/”.
- Launch Minecraft PE:
— Create a new world > select texture packs on the left > choose the More Chairs add-on.
— Then click on Behavior Packs and apply those same textures there too. - For an already created world:
— Install the textures: Behavior Packs and Resource Packs. - The mod is installed — now restart MCPE (make sure to do this!)!
