Modern Tools

Mod “Modern Tools” introduces contemporary tools to Minecraft PE, replacing two mobs in MCPE. One of the tools is a refrigerator, which can be used for storing food (or any other items), while another tool allows you to cook raw food instantly on a kitchen stove. Additionally, beyond their practical uses, they also enhance your home’s decor as new types of furniture.

How does the Modern Tools mod work?

To craft a tool, you first need to locate a forge. The forge is an item that drops everywhere in Minecraft PE (as it replaces eggs, which are dropped by chickens). Place the forge on the ground and then use any of the following items to create a modern tool.

• Refrigerator – Gray dye
• Tables – Bone meal, light blue dye, red dye, lapis lazuli, pink dye, cocoa beans
• Kitchen – Light gray dye

Refrigerator – gray color: a storage container with 27 available slots.

Tables / Chairs – bone meal, light blue dye, red dye, lapis lazuli, pink dye, cocoa beans: Decorate your home with beautiful furniture. You can even sit on the chairs.

Stove – light gray dye: quick cooking. It works for the following raw foods: chicken, beef, pork chop, rabbit meat.

Forge (default): add coal to the forge and extract a random valuable item (diamond, gold, gold nugget, or iron ingot).

Trash Can – Shulker Box: a regular trash bin.

• IOS / Android: long press on the trash can and select “Delete” to remove a block or item in hand. Works best in survival mode.

Postman (Villager): The Postman replaces one of the village residents. He gives you access to the MineBay market where you can buy and sell various items.

Enhanced Beds (replaces standard beds): all beds now feature more detailed 3D models.

Changes

• Compatible with the latest version of Minecraft PE
• The PC has returned. You can use it to trade minerals for coins, which can be used to purchase tools in Minebay

• Fixed issues when crafting tools

Installing Modern Tools (.mcpack)

• Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
• Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
• Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to world settings.
• Set the imported options for the world:
  — Resource Packs.
  — Addons.
• Select the imported resource/addon packs in each section.
• It is recommended to restart the game client Minecraft PE afterward.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!

Installing Modern Tools (.zip)

• Download this mod below.
• Extract the two folders from the archive.
• Move the folder “modern_tools_b” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
• Move the folder “modern_tools_r” to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ directory.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
• Create a new world or edit an existing one.
• Assign the selected world the resource pack and addon that you moved earlier to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
• Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy playing!
