Mob Upgrades
The mod “Mob Upgrades” enhances the threat level of most hostile mobs, as well as a few friendly ones, making them more formidable for players in Minecraft Pocket Edition. Additionally, the behavior patterns of certain mobs in MCPE have been altered to allow them to form alliances. How Does It Work?
Zombies, skeletons, creepers, and other mobs now exhibit completely revamped behaviors. They have acquired new attack styles and much more. You can find a comprehensive list of changes made by this mod for Minecraft Pocket Edition below.
- Arrows deal 4 damage per hit (applies to mobs with bows and players in MCPE)
- Arrows fly faster
- The attack range of skeletons has increased to 60 blocks, along with improved shooting accuracy.
- Arrows are enhanced with fire properties.
- Both arrows and skeletons drop at least one arrow each.
- Blazes shoot two fireballs at players.
- Horses spawn with excellent speed, maintaining their jump height while having health increased to 30 hearts. They also become aggressive towards all mobs except other horses.
- Wolves turn into killing machines, boasting 50 hearts of health and dealing 20 damage. Due to their immense power, they can only be tamed using diamonds.
- Creepers create massive explosions but are highly fearful of wolves.
- Zombified piglins and Wither skeletons will spawn equipped with iron swords.
- Zombies no longer burn in daylight.
Installing Mob Upgrades (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled “.mcpack” from below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to world settings.
- Apply the imported:
— Add-on Packs to your world. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It’s recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world in MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Mob Upgrades (.zip)
- Download the mod from below.
- Extract the “Mob Upgrades” folder from the archive.
- Move the “Mob Upgrades” folder to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world to use the add-on you moved earlier to the behavior_packs folder.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
