Mine-Wizard
Have you ever considered that in the world of Minecraft PE, there is no one to protect the villagers in their settlements? To address this issue, a special mod called Mine-Wizard has been created for Minecraft Pocket Edition, introducing a new magical defender for village inhabitants. These wizards are incredibly powerful; they can throw explosives and toxic potions at their foes. Additionally, they have the ability to heal themselves if they find themselves struggling during combat. To test the strength of these new village defenders in MCPE, I unleashed a horde of zombies on a village… and the wizard easily repelled the attack.
How Does It Work?
The wizards serve as replacements for witches and now spawn by default in villages within the Minecraft Pocket Edition world. These mobs are neutral, meaning the wizards will not initiate combat! You can also transform a regular villager into a wizard by giving them a Nether Star from Minecraft PE!
Wizards act as true guardians, defending villages both day and night! They consistently fend off enemy attacks using explosive potions and fire projectiles from the MCPE universe. Their health is significantly increased, making them quite resilient.
If a wizard falls victim to a zombie, they become an unkillable zombie-wizard, hostile towards players but just as formidable as a standard wizard in Minecraft Pocket Edition!
Installing Mine-Wizard (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/resource pack into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-ons. - Select the imported resource/add-on packs in each section.
- It’s recommended to restart the game client Minecraft PE afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Mine-Wizard (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder “(Behavior) Wizard Add-On” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
- Move the folder “(Resource) Wizard Add-On” to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ directory.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Assign the selected world the resource pack and add-on that you moved earlier to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your gameplay!
