Do you enjoy the New Year? I believe so, as this celebration is universally cherished! The same goes for your favorite game, Minecraft PE, where no one will overlook this festive occasion. Now, you can download and install the mod called Mine-Gifts for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which introduces holiday gifts and Santa Claus into the game! You can easily unwrap the Christmas gifts by simply hitting them, but if you’re in the mood for some fun, place a torch next to a gift, and it will explode! Below, you’ll also find information about various decorations for MCPE during the New Year season!
How Does It Work?
This mod allows you to replace the useless witch with the beloved Santa Claus in Minecraft Pocket Edition. Be cautious around him; if you hit him even once, he will go berserk and try to eliminate you.
If you manage to defeat Santa Claus, he will drop spawn eggs that you can use to generate Christmas gifts within the world of Minecraft PE.
You have two options to obtain a Christmas gift: either search for it in the MCPE world or use a creeper spawn egg. These gifts may contain diamonds, iron ingots, or other valuable items.
You can ignite the gifts using a torch, creating a small explosion nearby.
The creeper’s head has been replaced with Christmas gifts, which you can use as decorations in Minecraft Pocket Edition. Additionally, there’s another lovely decoration—a star! (which replaces cobwebs) Place it on top of your Christmas tree.
Installing Mine-Gifts (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- For the world, enable the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-ons. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It’s recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured MCPE world, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Mine-Gifts (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder “(Behavior) Christmas Gifts” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
- Move the folder “(Resource) Christmas Gifts” to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ directory.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Enable the resource pack and add-on for the selected world that you moved earlier to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy playing!
