Mine-Frog
I believe there are players of Minecraft PE who would love to see some new harmless pets introduced into their favorite game. That’s why today we invite you to download and install the mod “Mine-Frog” for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which will add several types of frogs to the game. This mod for MCPE replaces rabbits with 7 new frog species that you can tame and keep in your home. These gentle creatures are quite weak compared to wolves, so it’s best to keep them indoors, away from hostile mobs.
How does it work?
Frogs can now be found almost everywhere in the vast world of Minecraft Pocket Edition, as they serve as a replacement for rabbits. You can easily tame them by feeding a frog flies (which replace golden carrots). To obtain some flies, you’ll need to defeat them in the world of MCPE (live flies act as a substitute for bats).
- IOS/Android: hold a fly in your hand, long-press on the frog, then click the appearing Tame button.
- Windows 10: hold a fly in your hand, then right-click on the frog.
After these steps, the tamed frog will automatically follow you around the world of Minecraft PE. You can command it to stay in one place or use a leash to tie it to a nearby fence.
There are a total of 7 different frog species, each spawning in various biomes.

Installing Mine-Frog (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked as “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Addons. - Select the imported resource packs/addon in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
