Have you ever dreamed of taming a fierce and powerful creature? We invite you to install the Lions mod for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which will allow you to encounter lions in the world of MCPE. The lion is a majestic and incredibly tough animal that deserves great respect, but it’s hard to determine whether it poses a threat since this depends on its hunger level. If you come across a lion cub and tame it, it will become your pet.
How to Tame a Lion?
There are two types of lions (one replaces mushroom cows, while the other replaces regular cows in Minecraft Pocket Edition) and the only difference lies in their color. If you find a lion cub, you can tame it by feeding it raw meat or raw fish.
IOS / Android: Hold raw meat or fish in your hand and long press on the lion, then tap the appearing Tame button.
Windows 10: Right-click on the lion while holding either raw meat or raw fish to tame it.
Once tamed, it will start following you. When it grows up (either naturally or by being fed more), it will protect its owner—meaning you—from any threats.
They are particularly useful when night falls in the MCPE world. No undead can safely roam as long as your pet lion is alive (damage: 4-7 points).
However, be cautious to keep the lion away from your livestock, as they may attack sheep and pigs if given the chance.
Both white and normal lions will attack most mob types and players. Fortunately, your character is slightly faster, allowing you to outrun them. If you choose to fight them, it’s advisable to have some weaponry, as they are quite strong.
You can tame as many lions as you wish, and they will make excellent companions during your adventures in the world of Minecraft PE.
