Levitation Potion

Would you like to float above the ground in your favorite game Minecraft? Starting from version Minecraft PE 0.17.0, the ability to levitate has been introduced! Without needing any add-ons, you’ll be able to hover if a Shulker hits you! The Shulker is a new mob in MCPE that spawns in the End dimension!

The Levitation Potion mod for Minecraft Pocket Edition adds an explosive potion that activates the levitation effect for anyone affected by the explosion of the potion bottle. However, this comes at the cost of losing an experience bottle, which will no longer exist in Minecraft Pocket Edition.

How does it work?

The levitation potion replaces the experience bottle. In MCPE, two mobs have been selected as sources for this new potion! To obtain it, you can either find it in creative mode or defeat one of these two mobs:

• Enderman (1-3 explosive potions)
• Shulker (1-3 explosive potions)

You can use the explosive levitation potion in both creative and survival modes of Minecraft Pocket Edition. However, I believe it’s most useful in survival mode!

To activate the potion on yourself, simply throw it either above or below you! The effect lasts for 25 seconds, during which time the player or another mob targeted by the potion will float in the air.

For fun, you can throw this potion at any mob in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition. After 25 seconds, those mobs will fall, and most will die from fall damage.

Installing Levitation Potion (.mcpack)

• Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
• Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
• Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
• Set the imported options for the world:
  — Resource Packs.
  — Add-On Packs.
• Select the imported resource/add-on packs in each section.
• It’s recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!

Installing Levitation Potion (.zip)

• Download the mod below.
• Extract the two folders from the archive.
• Move the folder “Levitation Potion (Add-On)” to the folder /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/
• Move the folder “Levitation Potion (Texture)” to the folder /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
• Create a new world or edit an existing one.
• Apply the resource pack and add-on you moved earlier to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
• Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy playing!
