Landmines
The Landmines Mod introduces land mines into the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition, which can be placed almost anywhere in the MCPE environment. It’s best to conceal these mines within grass, as they will be less visible there. The land mines replace the mob known as “Cadaver“. Although the Landmines mod replaces one of the new mobs in the game, it remains an exciting modification since it adds another explosive element to the universe of Minecraft Pocket Edition.
How Does It Work?
The mines take the place of a mob in MCPE — the Cadaver mob. Instead of encountering Cadavers in the desert, you will now find mines there.
If you accidentally step on a mine, it will launch you upwards (you will lose 8.5 hearts without armor). Upon landing, you will die. This mine functions only in survival mode and does not affect other MCPE mobs.
You can deploy mines throughout the Minecraft Pocket Edition world using the spawn egg for the “Cadaver” mob.
Installing Landmines (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled “.mcpack” below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the add-on/resource pack into MCPE.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- Apply the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-ons. - Select the imported resource/add-on packs in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured MCPE world, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Landmines (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder “landmines-behavior” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
- Transfer the folder “landmines-resources” to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ directory.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world with the resource pack and add-on that you moved earlier to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and have fun playing!
