Improved Minecart
I believe there are players in Minecraft PE who enjoy hopping into a minecart and exploring the depths of mines for valuable resources. That’s why today we present to you the opportunity to download and install the mod “Improved Minecart” for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which enhances your old minecart with new features. Now, the cart you ride on the tracks will be equipped with weaponry, allowing you to shoot arrows at enemies within the world of MCPE. Additionally, it includes a chest where you can store all your precious items that don’t fit in your inventory. If an enemy stands in your way, fear not, as you can now knock them down with your minecart!
How Does It Work?
Now, the chicken in Minecraft Pocket Edition will be replaced by a new minecart that can be placed on rails and accommodates a cannon, a chest, and a player. To control the movement of the cart, simply hold an iron sword.
The enhanced minecart will automatically fire at any enemy that crosses its path.
While traveling through the world of MCPE, you’ll always have a chest behind you that holds 27 slots for various items. Frequent miners will surely appreciate this feature, as it’s common to run out of space for ores and need to head back home.
- IOS/Android: sneak, long press on the minecart, then tap the appearing Open button to access the chest
- Windows 10: sneak and right-click on the chest to open it
You can also try opening your inventory while in the minecart, granting you access to the chest behind you.
Installing Improved Minecart (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/resource pack into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-ons. - Select the imported resource/add-on packs in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the game client Minecraft PE afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Improved Minecart (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder “Improved Minecart Behaviors” to the directory /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/
- Move the folder “Improved Minecart Resources” to the directory /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Assign the selected world the resource pack and add-on that you moved earlier to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your gameplay!
