Ice Mobs
If you prefer winter over the summer biomes of Minecraft with their ever-blooming flora, then the mod “Ice Mobs” is sure to delight you! Once downloaded, you’ll find five new mobs in your game that resemble the usual ones but come with unique abilities. With them, you can enjoy all the fun of winter: glide on ice, engage in snowball fights, and freeze anything that catches your eye.
Ice mobs are nearly identical to other creatures found in Minecraft Bedrock. The key point to remember is that they can be harmed by sunlight, so it’s crucial to play in a mode without daylight. Upon their defeat, there’s a chance that one or more ice blocks will drop.
Mobs:
- Frosty (Glass)
- Ice Creeper
- Frost Witch
- Ice Zombie
- Ice Skeleton
The Frost Witch and Ice mob throw snowballs at players, while the behavior of the Ice Creeper remains unchanged from the regular version. Similarly, the skeleton behaves the same but uses a diamond sword when attacking.
Installing Ice Mobs (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” from below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into Minecraft.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- For your world, enable the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-ons. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is advisable to restart the game client of Minecraft PE after this step.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world in Minecraft, and enjoy the add-on!
