HardCore Mobs
Are you an experienced player who finds battling regular monsters in the world of Minecraft PE too easy? If so, we have discovered a fantastic mod called “HardCore Mobs” for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which will significantly increase the difficulty of your survival experience. Most mobs in the game will become nearly invincible and much faster. Think that’s not enough? Many monsters now boast double attack power! This addition is sure to appeal to seasoned players of MCPE.
Which mobs have been modified?
It seems that the most dangerous mob in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition will be the creeper, which moves at incredible speed and causes massive explosions upon detonation. Your only chance lies in upgraded armor, but even then, survival isn’t guaranteed.
Below, you can find a complete list of altered mobs. This includes mobs from version MCPE 1.1, but don’t worry if you’re using an earlier version; this add-on will still function properly.
- Brute: increased movement speed, doubled health, and doubled attack power.
- Wraith: enhanced movement speed, inflicts poison effect on hit, along with doubled health and attack strength.
- Creeper: boosted movement speed, greater explosion power, massive fire after detonation, and doubled health.
- Summoner: now summons Brutes instead of Annoyers. Has doubled health.
- Zombie: doubled health and attack power.
- Skeleton: increased movement speed, plus doubled health and attack power.
- Witch: doubled health and attack power.
- Slime and Magma Cube: both have doubled health and attack power (except for split parts).
- Villagers, witches, zombified piglins, and regular spiders move faster.
How to Install HardCore Mobs (.mcaddon)
- Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/textures into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-ons. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It’s recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
How to Install HardCore Mobs (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder “HardCore Mobs AddOn B” to the directory /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/
- Transfer the folder “HardCore Mobs AddOn R” to the directory /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Assign the selected world the resource pack and add-on that you moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders earlier.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy playing!
