Friendlies
Sometimes, when the endless battles with zombies and skeletons become tiresome, it’s nice to take a break from fighting and peacefully explore the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition. The mod called Friendlies can assist you by removing aggression from mobs, turning most previously hostile creatures into neutral ones. Imagine stepping out of your house at night and strolling through a crowd of creepers and zombies without engaging in combat.
What are the benefits?
Picture this: you launch your favorite game, Minecraft PE, grab your pickaxe, and head down into a mine to search for diamonds and other valuable ores! But then, a zombie appears in the cave and pushes you into lava… Not pleasant, right? To avoid such situations, I recommend installing the Friendlies mod, which alters the behavior of many mobs in MCPE. Here’s what exploring the mines looks like after installing the mod:
Interestingly, you no longer need to sleep since it would be a waste of time! Hostile mobs are now completely non-threatening:
However, don’t get too complacent; the only real danger is yourself. If you accidentally hit a formerly hostile mob, you’ll find yourself in trouble..

Installing Friendlies (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked as “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Add-on Packs for the world. - Select the imported addon in the add-ons section.
- It’s recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
Installing Friendlies (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the “Friendlies” folder from the archive.
- Move the “Friendlies” folder to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Apply the addon you moved earlier to the behavior_packs folder to the selected world.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy playing!
