Flintlock Pistol Add-on
Flintlock Pistol Add-on Mod — this mod/add-on introduces vintage flintlock firearms that originated in the 17th century. Since then, weaponry has evolved significantly in the modern world with the advent of cartridge systems! Flintlock weapons will look fantastic in Minecraft Pocket Edition. The flintlock gun replaces the fishing rod in Minecraft PE, altering its texture and providing a bit more damage.
How to Acquire the Weapon?
You can obtain the flintlock pistol from one of the rural villages. The flintlock rifle takes the place of the fishing rod in Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- iOS / Android: hold an emerald in your hand and tap on a villager until the button “Buy Pistol” appears.
- Windows 10: right-click on the villager while holding an emerald.
To use the weapon, you need to tap on it and then press the “Shoot” button on the screen. Once you do this, you might see the message “Catch,” which may be fixed in a future update.
As this is a ranged weapon, you don’t need to be too close to your enemy to shoot them. You can inflict damage from quite a distance away.
Installing Flintlock Pistol (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked as “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/resource pack into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Add-on Packs for the world. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It’s recommended to restart the game client Minecraft PE afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Flintlock Pistol (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder “flintlock-pistol-bp” to the directory /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/
- Move the folder “flintlock-pistol-rp” to the directory /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Apply the resource pack and add-on you moved earlier to the resource_packs and behavior_packs directories.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy playing!
