If so, you absolutely need to try installing the mod called ExplosiveLightning for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which will unleash a true natural disaster in the MCPE universe! How Does It Work?
Have you ever been afraid of lightning in Minecraft Pocket Edition? You will be now, as lightning has become more dangerous than ever, causing explosions and fires!
If you want to create the most challenging survival conditions in the MCPE world, here are my recommendations:
- Set the game difficulty to maximum
- Enable thunder and lightning (use the command /weather thunder 1000000)
- Play in survival mode

Installing ExplosiveLightning (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-ons. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world in MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing ExplosiveLightning (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the “ExplosiveLightning” folder from the archive.
- Move the “ExplosiveLightning” folder to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world to use the add-on you previously moved to the behavior_packs folder.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
