Ender Horse
You may have encountered numerous mods that alter the traits of specific animals before. But what if you could swap out the zombie horse for an ender horse? This is exactly what the mod “Ender Horse” brings to Minecraft Pocket Edition. A new type of horse, the ender horse, will now be available in the game! This isn’t just a simple texture change; the new horse possesses the ability to teleport throughout the MCPE world. While this feature may not be the most practical, it certainly adds some variety to the gameplay. Additionally, this new horse type will boast an increased health pool!
How Does It Work?
Currently, the only way to spawn this unique horse is through a spawn egg in creative mode of Minecraft PE. (Automatic spawning of this mob is not functioning at the moment)
You can tame the horse by repeatedly attempting to ride it. Once you see hearts around your future companion, you can be assured that it has been successfully tamed.
To control the horse and travel across the MCPE world, you will need to equip it with a saddle. (For iOS/Android: open your inventory while sitting on the horse, then easily equip the saddle; for Windows 10: press E while mounted on the horse, and move the saddle to the appropriate equipment slot)
The standout feature of this new horse is its teleportation ability within the Minecraft Pocket Edition world. However, there is a downside: you cannot control the horse’s teleportation. The horse can jump up to a maximum height of 5 blocks and has a health total of 33 full hearts.
Your horse will gradually lose health as you both survive in the Minecraft Pocket Edition world, so it’s important to know the only way to heal it: by using a splash potion of harming on the horse.
Installing Ender Horse (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Addons. - Select the imported resource/addon packs in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
Installing Ender Horse (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder “Ender horse Behavior by Ayrtown” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
- Move the folder “Ender horse texture by Ayrtown” to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ folder.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world with the resource pack and addon that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
