Dyeable Beds
Minecraft PE continues to receive updates, and soon the MCPE 1.1 version will introduce dyeable beds! For those who can’t wait for this update and want to enjoy the new feature right away, we present the new mod “Dyeable Beds” for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which allows you to dye beds immediately. This mod for MCPE replaces shulkers with dyeable beds, serving purely as decoration, meaning you won’t be able to sleep on them. It’s a delightful addition that will soon become official.
How Does It Work?
Currently, in Minecraft Pocket Edition, there is no option to dye beds, but with this mod, you can spawn a shulker that now appears as a bed, take the dye of your choice, and apply it to your decoration.
Installing Dyeable Beds (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
- For the world, enable the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-ons. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Dyeable Beds (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the two folders from the archive.
- Move the “Dyeable Bed B” folder to /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/
- Move the “Dyeable Bed R” folder to /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world to use the resource pack and add-on that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
