Controllable Rideable Dolphins
Mod “Controllable Rideable Dolphins (Controllable Rideable Dolphins)” introduces a long-awaited feature for dolphins in Minecraft PE. This allows you to ride and steer dolphins in the water. However, you can only turn either backward or forward (not up or down), which is a minor drawback. Aside from that, the mod functions perfectly and enables you to explore the ocean in MCPE in a more exciting and faster way!
How Does It Work?
First, you need to locate a dolphin in Minecraft PE. They can be found in all aquatic biomes, except for frozen oceans. Riding dolphins operates similarly to riding in Minecraft Pocket Edition, except you won’t need to tame the dolphin or equip it with a saddle.
Once you mount a dolphin, you can move backward or forward. However, you won’t be able to move up or down.
Installing Controllable Rideable Dolphins (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Add-on Packs for the world. - Select the imported resource packs/addons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
Installing Controllable Rideable Dolphins (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the “DolphinRider” folder from the archive.
- Move the “DolphinRider” folder to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the addon you previously moved to the behavior_packs folder for the selected world.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
