Recently downloaded Minecraft Pocket Edition? Are creepers constantly killing you and destroying your homes? Struggling to defeat mobs? Not getting arrows from skeletons? No worries! The mod Cake Mode will make the easy survival mode even easier! It’s incredibly helpful for players just starting their journey in MCPE. While you may not have everything you need right from the start, gathering resources becomes simpler, and mobs turn into mere targets!

Don’t say that this is unnecessary or that survival in Minecraft Pocket Edition is a walk in the park, as we all were beginners at some point, constantly dying to mobs!

New Changes in Survival

Now, let’s break down what becomes easier after installing Cake Mode in Minecraft PE. First and foremost, creepers will no longer harm you, as they will transform into harmless mobs wandering around the MCPE world! How will they react to you? The creeper will simply puff up and stare at you until you take action, with no explosions involved. Now you have a new friend:

One of the challenges for newcomers is gathering food! After killing a pig, you realize you’re still short on food, but Cake Mode makes this easier too! Now, all mobs will drop more items, giving you extra bonuses!

After some time playing MCPE, you can enjoy finding and taming a wolf, as it has become even stronger! Even if you can’t defend yourself, your loyal companion can fend off enemy attacks!

What’s next? After a few hours of gameplay, you might want to catch and defeat the Enderman (Learn more about this mob – read in this guide [Enderman]). Now, the Enderman will not fear you, allowing you to look it directly in the eyes, which was previously impossible!

But did you think that all mobs are now harmless? Of course not! Zombies and many other mobs remain hostile, but they are now easier to defeat, as we have increased the player’s attack power in Minecraft Pocket Edition.

Additionally, Cake Mode will add some fun to village life! Villages will now feature not just villagers, but also YouTube bloggers, along with a very interesting character that resembles a real cake from the Minecraft PE world.

Moreover, killing an iron golem in the world of MCPE has become “tastier” 😉 After defeating an iron golem, you will receive not just ingots, but also a delicious cake!

And what about water? New players often die from drowning. Now, everything becomes much easier, as you can spend an infinite amount of time underwater without needing air!

Installing Cake Mode (.mcpack)

• Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
• Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
• Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to world settings.
• Set the imported:
  — Resource Packs.
  — Addons for the world.
• Select the imported resource/addon packs in each section.
• It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!

Installing Cake Mode (.zip)

• Download the mod below.
• Extract the two folders from the archive.
• Move the folder “Cake Difficulty Addon By Cheete” to the folder /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/
• Move the folder “Cake Mode Texture By Cheete” to the folder /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
• Create a new world or edit an existing one.
• Set the selected world with the resource pack and addon that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
• Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!

Installing the Cake Mode Map (.zip):

• Download the map.
• Extract the map from the archive.
• Move the map to the path: “/games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds”.
• Go to Minecraft PE > Play > Select the installed map.
• Have fun playing!
