Better Multiplayer
Have you ever wished to assist your friends during battles? To do so without the stress of brewing potions? The mod titled Better Multiplayer aims to introduce just that level of gameplay depth into Minecraft Pocket Edition. Once you experience this mod, you won’t want to play without it!
How does it work?
Now, you can interact with other MCPE players by clicking on them while holding specific items from MCPE. Each item will apply a certain effect to the targeted player.
- Rabbit’s foot – Jump boost
- Golden apple – Golden apple effects
- Enchanted apple – Enchanted apple effect
- Golden pickaxe – Speed effect
- Any flower – Heals one heart
- Rotten heart (a new item dropped by zombies) – Heals two hearts
- Spider eye – Poison effect
- Rotten flesh – Hunger effect
There are numerous effects available. For instance, a rabbit’s foot will grant the receiving player a jump boost in MCPE.
Installing Better Multiplayer (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled as .mcpack below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource packs.
— Add-on packs. - Select the imported resource/add-on packs in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Better Multiplayer (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder BetterMultiplayerDat to /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/
- Move the folder Better Multiplayer Res to /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world with the resource pack and add-on that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your gameplay!
