Better Armor

The mod «Better Armor (Enhanced Armor)» is composed of three distinct packages. One of these is a texture pack, while the other two are behavior packs that alter gameplay in Minecraft Pocket Edition. The common goal of all these packages is to enhance armor sets in Minecraft PE.

How Does It Work?

Here are the bonuses you will receive when wearing specific armor sets from any of the following armors in MCPE (assuming you have the Armor Bonuses Pack enabled).

  • +0.03 Speed
  • +3 Hearts
  • +1 Attack
  • Fall Damage Immunity
  • New mode and textures
• Golden Armor
  • -0.01 Speed
  • +5 Hearts
  • +2 Attack
  • Potion Damage Immunity
• Chainmail Armor
  • +4 Hearts
  • +4 Attack
  • Fire Damage Immunity
• Iron Armor
  • +0.005 Speed
  • +7 Hearts
  • +3 Attack
  • Projectile Damage Immunity
• Diamond Armor
  • +0.01 Speed
  • +10 Hearts
  • +5 Attack
  • Explosion Damage Immunity

By including the Balanced Armor Pack, you will also gain bonuses when wearing a full set of armor. However, this pack for Minecraft PE includes bonuses for wearing lower-tier armor. All bonuses are based on the Armor Bonuses Pack, with only the speed values adjusted. Additionally, the chainmail, leather, diamond, and iron armor switch their bonuses.

Better Leather Pack modifies the model and textures of leather armor. Now, there is more brown color after damage on your armor.

Installing Better Armor (.mcpack)

• Download the mod marked with «.mcpack» below.
• Open the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to world settings.
• Set the imported resources for the world:
  — Resource Packs.
  — Add-on Packs.
• Select the imported resource/add-on packs in each section.
• It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
• Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
