Ants

To address this issue, we suggest you install the mod “Ants” for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which will introduce ants into your favorite game! These new mobs in MCPE will replace the old giant spiders. It’s a fantastic mod for those looking to add a touch of realism to MCPE. Additionally, it will make the game a bit easier for newcomers who struggle to survive their first nights in Minecraft Pocket Edition, as the new ants are significantly weaker than spiders.
What will change?
These tiny new mobs closely resemble ants, but they are essentially just smaller spiders. If it weren’t for the number of legs, it would be hard to tell the difference. This mod makes spiders much weaker, smaller, and slower. It only takes two hits to defeat a new ant in Minecraft Pocket Edition.
We have been discussing cave spiders that turn into red ants. Additionally, regular spiders in the game will be replaced by ants, which are slightly larger than the red ones. Due to their increased size, regular ants are also stronger, requiring three hits to defeat them in Minecraft Pocket Edition.
Installing Ants (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs for the world.
— Addons for the world. - Select the imported resource packs/addons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
Installing Ants (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder “Ants-[Behavior]” to the folder /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/
- Move the folder “Ants-[ResourcePack]” to the folder /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world with the resource pack and addon that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
