Struggling to survive in the world of Minecraft PE, and finding that the regular iron golem isn’t much help? We present to you the mod “Alex’s Guardian” for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which introduces a new mob – the Guardian. This formidable creature boasts impressive size, which is matched by its incredible attack power and substantial health pool. The Guardian’s primary role is to defend the villagers’ settlements from threats, but if you’re nearby, you can count on its assistance in the world of MCPE. Prepare for new battles in MCPE, as things are about to get a lot easier!
How Does It Work?
To spawn a Guardian in Minecraft Pocket Edition, you need to construct a special structure using new iron blocks. Place 4 Guardian iron blocks (which replace the standard iron blocks) and top it off with a pumpkin to summon your loyal protector.
The Guardian is larger, stronger, and significantly more powerful than the standard iron golem in MCPE. If you find yourself in danger, you can ride on the Guardian’s shoulders, making it impossible for enemies to reach you. However, you won’t be able to control the Guardian directly.
The Guardian has an enormous health pool of 350 hearts and deals shocking damage, allowing you to defeat nearly any mob in Minecraft PE, including the Wither.
Now, iron tools in the world of MCPE have been replaced with Guardian tools, but they still retain their original characteristics.

Installing Alex’s Guardian (.mcaddon)
- Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-ons. - Select the imported resource/add-on packs in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
Installing Alex’s Guardian (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder “Guardian (B)” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
- Move the folder “Guardian (T)” to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ folder.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world with the resource pack and add-on that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
