Alex’s Better Weapons
In the 21st century, players of Minecraft PE are still wielding outdated swords that could easily be upgraded. This is where the new mod “Alex’s Better Weapons” for Minecraft Pocket Edition comes into play, introducing a total of 10 new types of modern weaponry to your favorite game. You can now utilize grenades, sniper rifles, and a variety of melee weapons in the world of MCPE. If you’re looking to swap out your old weapons for something more contemporary, this add-on for MCPE is exactly what you need!
What Items Have Been Replaced?
Check out the complete list of new weapons now available in Minecraft Pocket Edition:
- Nuclear Bomb (TNT) – creates a massive explosion and fire
- Sniper Rifle (bow) – offers greater accuracy and attack power compared to the bow
- Flint and Steel (fire starter) – only the appearance has changed
- Karambit (melee weapon)
- Combat Knife (melee weapon)
- Katana (melee weapon)
- Small Knife (melee weapon)
- Fragmentation Grenade
- Some explosive potions have also been revamped.

Installing Alex’s Better Weapons (.mcaddon)
- Download the mod marked as “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-ons. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Alex’s Better Weapons (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder “Alex’sBetterWeapons(B)” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
- Move the folder “Alex’sBetterWeapons(R)” to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ folder.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world with the resource pack and add-on that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
