Map: Minecraft Advent Calendar 2016 [Minigame]

The Minecraft Advent Calendar 2016 map introduces an engaging mini-game called ‘Countdown to the New Year‘. The main idea of this mini-game is to open one door each day leading up to the new year. Behind every door, there will be a mini-game that you need to complete. Once you’ve finished it, you’ll wait for the next day to open the following door and tackle the next mini-game. I believe the concept is clear. If this approach doesn’t appeal to you, feel free to open doors as you progress through the mini-games.

Rules

• Do not destroy/place blocks unless instructed otherwise.
• Play only during the daytime (Minecraft time) — /set time day
• Set your game mode to peaceful survival.
• Open just one door each day!

Installing the Minecraft Advent Calendar 2016 (.mcworld)

• Download the map labeled as “.mcworld” below.
• Run the downloaded file to import the map into MCPE.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, then select the imported world.

Installing the Minecraft Advent Calendar 2016 (.zip):

• Download the map.
• Extract the map from the archive.
• Move the map to the path: “/games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds”.
• Open Minecraft PE > Play > Select the installed map.
• Have fun playing!
