Ancient Guardian [Mobs][Minecraft PE Guides]
This guide is designed for players eager to learn everything about mobs. Here, I will provide information on the Ancient Guardian in Minecraft PE
The Ancient Guardian is classified as a hostile mob (it attacks players who enter its line of sight).
The Ancient Guardian is a new mob introduced in Minecraft PE, along with the addition of underwater temples. Ancient Guardians spawn exclusively within these underwater temples, with a strict limit of 3 mobs per temple, located in specific rooms. It has 80 hp (40 hearts).
The Ancient Guardian is capable of attacking players, fish, and squids. It uses a laser weapon that fires from its eye. If the mob is currently close to a player, the latter will receive a fatigue effect of level 3 for a duration of 5 minutes.
As long as at least one Ancient Guardian remains alive in the temple, the player will continuously be affected by Fatigue III. This effect can be removed with milk, but it does not fundamentally solve the issue.
To counteract fatigue, it’s essential to utilize buckets of milk. It’s advisable to stock up on a substantial amount beforehand, as they will be frequently required during encounters with these mobs.
The Ancient Guardian shares many similarities with its regular counterpart but boasts significantly enhanced attributes. For an effective fight against the ancient guardian, it is recommended to equip at least a full set of diamond armor (preferably including boots enchanted for underwater movement) and carry water-breathing potions. To further ease the combat, consider using a sea lantern.
As for the dropped items, here’s what you can expect:
