Minecraft PE 26.50.26 [Beta]

Minecraft PE 26.50.26 is Beta/Preview 26.50.26 from August 18, 2026, the fifth 26.50 test. It stops camps from landing on villages as often, lets a fishing bobber break a cushion, and corrects poplar colors on maps. It does not add the drop from scratch: Wilderness Bound, the third 2026 drop, is already in this branch. Android and ChromeOS get Beta; Windows, Xbox, PlayStation and iOS get Preview. iOS for the same wave landed on August 16, 2026. Camps vs villages, trees, red shrubs

Abandoned camps were parking on village lots. Preview 26.50.26 cuts that overlap. In cherry groves and old-growth birch forest the campsite grows its trees again instead of leaving a bald pad. Red shrubs no longer flicker when two sit flush in multiplayer.

Village-plus-camp seeds and ready worlds sit under seeds and maps. The previous 26.50.25 and the later 26.50.27 APKs are next to this one in Download Minecraft PE.

What a cushion does when a bobber lands on it

A fishing bobber that comes to rest in the cushion hitbox now breaks the cushion instead of sliding through. You can place another cushion inside a non-full block that already holds one. A fast sidestep no longer stacks a second cushion on the first. A name tag will not rename it. Place, break and touch send sculk vibrations again; the cushion had been muting the sensor.

Wool stairs and slabs dropped out of the painting recipe — the frame wants wool, not a step. Two straw beds side by side keep their pillows aligned. Jump and land subtitles on a straw bed and on a shelf mushroom match the block underfoot. Packs that ship cushions or wool slabs belong under Add-Ons.

Locator-range Windows cap, mute-on-report, poplar on maps

Explorer and locator maps no longer paint poplar items the wrong shade. Door, fence, slab, sign, shelf and the rest of the list in Minecraft Beta & Preview — 26.50.26 now match the block in the world. Poplar door hinges pick up a metallic sheen. That is a map-legend fix, not a new biome.

The title-screen cube map follows the drop. Reporting a chat line now offers a mute. On Windows, Vibrant Visuals top out at 48 chunks of view distance — chunks, not blocks — which matters if you run shaders on that pipeline. From the same pass, in passing: comparators read containers through honey and chains again, foxes hold a shelf mushroom straight, water lips lose the triangular gap, and the yellowtail parrotfish keeps its name.

Install this beta 26.50 if you already test 26.50 and spend time in a camp, on a cushion, or with a poplar map. It is not the final Preview and not the retail drop. Backup steps are in Help. The file is in Download Minecraft PE.
